ESPN.com’s Pat Yasinskas is equally baffled by Tampa Bay’s most recent decision to fire OC Jeff Jagodzinski. In fact, Yasinskas says even hiring Jagodzinksi, let alone firing him a week before the season, was just one of a series of questionable (at best) calls made by HC Raheem Morris and GM Mark Dominik have made since last January.

Those days of “Wicky Whacky (Sam) Wyche,’’ as he was dubbed by a radio announcer, seem to be back. Children of all ages, welcome to the circus.

Clearly 411 isn’t the only outlet raising its eyebrow at the Bucs, who now appears to be doing everything possible to finish 4-12 this season.

Months of frustration has finally caught up with Diva WR Brandon Marshall. After griping about his team’s support (or lack thereof) during his court appearances on battery charges, admitting to not knowing the playbook and most recently purposely “mailing it in” during practice this week, the Broncos have had enough.

Denver drew the line in the sand this time by suspending the disgruntled receiver… for the rest of the preseason.

Is anyone else as unmoved by this as myself?

That’s like telling Brett Favre, “Okay, Brett. We’ll sign you. But your indecision has tried our patience for too long now. Consider yourself suspended until training camp is over.”

Marshall reportedly put on his best eight-year old impersonation by punting the ball away from the ball-boy, swatting down passes that were thrown to him and walking during running drills.

He clearly wants traded, but contends, “I’m not out there trying to be a distraction to the team.” He then proceeded to explain that his emotions boiled over. “I definitely want a fresh new start with everything that is going on…. Me punting the ball was definitely frustration. It was an error in judgment. There was a lot of frustration yesterday coming out of a meeting.”

But remember, kids, he doesn’t want to be a disruption.

As for what impact this will have on Marshall’s season? For now, none. Nobody cares about the preseason unless you’re injured or fighting for playing time. 411fantasy.com maintains that he and WR Eddie Royal won’t match last year’s pace with QB Kyle Orton under center. Missing the next two preseason games won’t make or break anyone’s numbers as far as we’re concerned.

Should Marshall not get traded he said, “I’ll have to be professional about it and get ready for the season with the Broncos and go out there and put the team in the best position to win. I think we have a great group of guys and have a great chance of winning.”

What a guy.

Enjoy your vaca… errr, punishment, Brandon.
