Bling (11:13) – Barring a set-back Steven Jackson is expected to play. Keith Null will be under center so expectations should be low.

Bling (11:15) – Michael Turner is expected to play for the Falcons today.

Bling (11:17) – Vince Young is expected to play today. Good news for any Britt owners out there.

Bling (11:20) – Reports are that Fitzgerald will play today. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Cardinals pull him early which should worry owners, but the match-up is too good to pass one.

Bling (11:23) – Sidney Rice is expected to start. It isn’t the greatest match-up for him this week, I would look at him as a weak No. 1 against the Panthers.

Bling (11:26) – A little more info on Steven Jackson….Jackson has the flu and a herniated disc in his back. As tough as it would be to sit him, I would certainly explore other options. If the Rams were smart they would have made this decision for you, but holding him out.

Bling (11:29) – The Bucs think K. Winslow will play today, but aren’t sure. He was held out of practice Friday after participating on Thursday. Winslow has a decent match-up, but waiting until the 4pm games might be a bit risky.

Bling (11:32) – ESPN is reporting that Matt Ryan will play this week. It certainly isn’t a great match-up, but he does give a bump in value to the Falcon’s skill players. I would avoid Ryan unless you were really hurting.

Bling (11:34) – Mortensen is reporting that things are looking like Mike Holmgren is going to join the Browns in a ‘czar’ like capacity.

Bling (11:36) – For those of you worrying about the weather in Buffalo….wind gusts of 5mph, temp 28 degrees. Start you Pats skill players. For the record, I also like TO today.

Bling (11:40) – Larry Fitzgerald is officially active today. The injuries are a concern, but if he starts you have to start him.

Bling (11:42) – Calvin Johnson is active for the Lions today. The Cardinals rank in the top 10 in points given up to the WR over the last five weeks.

Bling (11:44) – Percy Harvin is expected to play for the Vikes today. Carolina has been the best team in the league defending against opposing WRs in the last five.  I don’t see him as much more than a No. WR this week.

Bling (11:46) – No Vince Wilfork or Ty Warren for the Pats today. Give the Buffalo running game a boost.

Bling (11:47) – If you missed the news and are a Neil Rackers owner, you need to pick-up Mike Nugent and start him instead. Rackers is out today against the Lions.

Bling (11:49) – Culpepper will be the Lions No. 1 today. Not a surprise, just passing along the info.

Bling (11:51) – A weather update for anybody eyeing the Falcons/Jets game….no new snow, but winds at 15-23 mph. Doesn’t sound like a good day to be passing the ball.

Bling (11:55) – For you IDPers….No Leonard Little for the Rams today.

Bling (12:03) – Just to make it official, TO will be starting for the Bills today.

Bling (12:10) – Chris Houston is out for the Falcons today. The Falcons secondary is awful and Houston is the team’s best corner. Cotchery has a great match-up, but the wind and lack of a passing game from the Jets makes him a gamble.

Bling (12:14) – Seeing reports that while Turner will play, the team will look to limit his touches.

Bling (12:32) – More IDP news….no David Thorton for the Titans this week. Rookie Gerald McRather will get the start in his place.

Bling (12:45) – Adam Schefter is reporting that the Cardinals will look to trade Boldin during the offseason. Dynasty and Keeper league owners should look to move on Steve Breaston.

Bling (12:47) – More IDP news….Kerry Rhodes has regained his starting place in the Jets defense.

Bling (12:49) – Looking more and more that Mike Shanahan could be the next Redskins head coach. Pat Bowlen gave Snyder a ‘glowing endorsement’ of Shanahan.

Bling (12:51) – All three running backs for the Browns are active today. Everybody at 411 is pretty high on Jennings this week. If you are in a league that counts return yards, Cribbs might be worth a look as well if you are hurting.

Bling (12:53) – Mortensen is reporting that the deal that could bring Holgren to Cleveland in his ‘czar’ role is 10 years for 50 million.
