QB Kyle Orton Denver Broncos – Orton missed practice on Thursday as Chris Simms took the first team snaps. Orton will push to start, but this looks like a gametime decision.

RB Ronnie Brown Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins placed Brown on the IR ending his season.

RB Julius Jones Seattle Seahawks – Jim Mora ruled out Jones for this week’s game.

RB Michael Turner Atlanta Falcons – Turner missed Thursday practice. He hasn’t been ruled out, but is unlikely to play this week.

RB Clinton Portis Washington Redskins- Portis has been ruled out of this week’s game and could miss next week as well. He is still feeling the effects from the concussion he suffered and has yet to return to practice.

RB Cedric Benson Cincinnati Bengals – Benson sat out Thurs practice. He has not been ruled out but it will be a surprise if he plays this week.

RB Brian Westbrook Philadelphia Eagles – There is no timetable for Westbrook’s return.
