MASH Report
Here is a list of some notable from last week along with the latest info. I’ll try
and make this a daily section of my blog. It will be short and sweet with the fantasy implications towards the end of the week. If I have missed anyone or these is a player you think I should be following, feel free to toss the name in the comments.
QB Kyle Orton Denver Broncos – Head coach Josh McDaneils wouldn’t commit to Orton playing this week. NFL Networks Michael Lombardi is reporting that Orton will start against the Chargers this week.
RB Julius Jones Seattle Seahawks – ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Jones was hospitalized overnight in Arizona and experienced bleeding in his lungs. Head coach Jim Mora has reported that he is unlikely to play this week.
RB Joseph Addai Indianapolis Colts – Addai was able to finished the game, but is expected to see the team’s doctor to assess the extent of his injured finger.
RB Ronnie Brown Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins practiced with out Brown Monday. He is currently nursing ankle and foot injuries and has been ruled out this week.
RB Cedric Benson Cincinnati Bengals – Benson left Week 10 early after aggravating a hip injury that he suffered Week 9. The Bengals have stated that they expect him to play this week.
RB Brian Westbrook Philadelphia Eagles – Westbrook left Week 10 after suffering another concussion.
RB Michael Turner Atlanta Falcons – Turner left Week 10 after suffering what has been diagnosed as a high ankle sprain. The team has said that the injury is not as serious as high ankle sprains typically are.
WR Steve Smith Carolina Panthers – Smith bruised his ribs this week, but the team expects him to be able to play this Thursday against the Dolphins.
