Bling (10:45) – Starting early today…NFL network is reporting that Darren Sharper is ‘40-60′ to start today with a dinged knee. He will test the knee during warm-ups. If I had to guess, he sits against the Rams. The Saints should be fine without, but the Saints defense drops a couple spots on my list.

Bling (10:49) – LB Shawne Merriman is listed as questionable but expect him play.

Bling (10:51) – NFL network is reporting that TO will play today. Tough to see him as anything more than a weak No. 3 wide receiver.

Bling (10:52) – NFL network is also reporting that the Panthers are preparing Jonathan Stewart for an every down role this week with D. Williams status up in the air.

Bling (10:58) – R. White is listed as questionable this week, but I’m seeing a lot of reports that the team expects him to play. The Panthers are one of the best teams in limiting production at the WR position so don’t look for a huge week from him.

Bling (11:01) – ESPN reporting that D. Williams has tested his knee and looks like he will tough it out. Look for Stewart to possible get a bit more work than usual.

Bling (11:03) – 411 with an exclusive report….Conn (domestic) won’t be available today. Expect more updates than usual from me. I’ll be a solid No. 1 updater for the day.

Bling (11:06) – Ladell Betts is listed as questionable, but is expect to start this week against the Broncos as Clinton Portis sits. It isn’t a great match-up for Betts and probably a situation to avoid, but he could serve as a weak flex option for team’s in need.

Bling (11:09) – The Pats have put B. Tate on IR ending his season. This give S. Aiken the No. 3 spot all to himself.

Bling (11:11) The Pats have also downgraded S. Morris from questionable to out. Look for L. Maroney to get the bulk of the carries once again. With the the Colts missing three starters in their secondary, I don’t see the Pats leaning too heavily on the ground game.

Bling (11:16) – The Eagles are reportedly going to rotate B. Westbrook and L. McCoy series by series. Both players make strong flex options and weak No. 2 running backs as they eat into each others playing time, but have a good match-up against the Chargers.

Bling (11:25) – Adam Schefter reporting that D. Williams will play today. I still look for J. Stewart to have more of a workload.

Bling (11:26) – D. Sharper gave his knee a go during warm-ups, but the team has decided to sit him this week. The bigger news is that Sedrick Ellis is still out giving S. Jackson a big boost.

Bling (11:47) – B. Berrian is listed as active today, but S. Rice is the better option.

Bling (11:48) – Falcons LT Sam Baker is inactive today. The best pass protection for the team today will be a healthy dose of M. Turner.

Bling (11:49) – L. Moore is listed as inactive today. D. Henderson gets a small bump in value with one less person to share targets with.

Bling (11:51) – Because there is no such thing as too much info….the field in Denver is reportedly ’soggy’. With Betts already playing on a bum foot this doesn’t help.

Bling (11:54) – TO is officially listed as active, still wouldn’t start him unless I had to.

Bling (11:56) – Justin Gage is out this week for the Titans. Kenny Britt will get his first start as a result. The Bills secondary is one of the best in defending the WR position so this is a situation to stay away from.

Bling (11:58) – Ted Ginn Jr. has retaken his starting job. I would only consider starting him in leagues that offer points for return yards.

Bling (12:05) – The league has issued a memo reminding people not to give money to brother-in-laws and Ochocinco. The league fined Ochocinco for his attempted dollar bribe, but that won’t prevent him from taking a fan on a shopping spree.

Bling (12:16) – An update for an emailer….D. Ward is listed as active this week. Your RB question is even more of a coin flip now imo. I’m now leaning K. Smith, but only slightly.

Bling (12:24) – Reading some reports that Kolby Smith is going to start for the Chiefs. He has a solid match-up today and could work as a decent flex play against the Raiders.

Bling (12:35) – Re Tim :  Questions in the comments are encouraged. Start Williams. Williams is simply one of those back that if he starts, you start him.

Bling (12:51) – A. Fasano is out for the Dolphins today.
