Trio of experts thrive in Five
The fifth week of the NFL season featured surprises (Miles Austin), routine performances (Peyton Manning) and a disappearing act (Randy Moss). The uncertainty was difficult to navigate, but a trio of experts made it through and tied for the top weekly score: Adam Helbling (411fantasy.com), Eric Karabell (ESPN) and Jamey Eisenberg (CBS Sports).
It was the second straight strong week for Eisenberg and moved him to eighth in the season standings. Karabell is alone in 2nd place, and Helbling jumped to 11th.
AJ Mass (ESPN), Russ Bliss (Fantasy Football Starters) and Jeff Boggis of Fantasy Sports Empires were tied for fourth behind the Week Five leaders.
Mark Strausberg from Roto Experts and Steve Sheiner from FanBall tied for eighth. Paul Bourdett (Roto Experts) and Yahoo’s Brad Evans rounded out the weekly top-10 list.
The strong performance by Boggis moved him into the overall lead, with a slim lead over Eric Karabell. There’s a four-way tie for third with Bliss, Sheiner, Adam Conn of 411fantasy.com and Michael Jones of Football Diehards.
