Bling (10:39) – Jamal Lewis is out for the Browns this week. Jerome Harrison and James Davis will split carries.  We wouldn’t start either, but it will be nice to get an extended look at Davis who emerged as a bit of a sleep late in the preseason.

Bling (10:53) – Some Sunday morning reading, Salisbury hates DeadSpin and ESPN. I should have added in my made up title that he also hates grammar and spelling. What grown man uses ‘u’ in emails….or anywhere really? Seriously, the posted email is so bad is has to be a fake.

Bling (11:13) – NFL network reporting ‘positive signs’ on Moss and Welker playing. We will let you know for sure as soon as we hear anything.

Conn (11:16) -  Brady owners: Without one, okay. Without two? Yikes.

Conn (11:20) – Marion Barber III plays on Monday night, which is brutal for fantasy owners. Even if he does play, he’ll won’t be 100 percent. Against Carolina, the Cowboys have a good matchup, and could use a soft-tackling D like the Panthers to take the heat off of Romo. Paging Felix Jones!  If Barber is out, Jones makes a great No. 2 back. But either way, I like Jones as a flex option this week.

Conn (11:22) – CBSsportsline is reporting that Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe (hamstring) will be inactive today against the Eagles. If you thought QB Matt Cassel and RB Larry Johnson had little value now….?  Mark Bradley and Bobby Wade will likely start, but we don’t advise either one of them make a cameo in your lineup – Maybe in deeper PPR leagues… .

Bling (11:28) – No Phil Dawson for the Browns this week.

Conn – Kickers? Meh.

Bling (11:30) Westbrook inactice. LeSean McCoy gets a solid boost in value.

Conn – McCoy should be in starting lineups everywhere. This may be Andy Reid’s first game in who knows how long where he runs more than passes…. Okay, wishful thinking, but it SHOULD be!

Bling (11:32) No Mike Bell for the Saints this week.

Conn – Pierre Thomas banged up, Reggie Bush stinking it up… Not sure I’d get behind either one of them, unless Thomas and his knee gets a vote of confidence between now and kickoff.

Conn (11:40) – Eagles WR DeSean Jackson will start, Kevin Curtis will not. Rookie Jeremy Macklin will also start. I like Jackson.  Here’s hoping Vick making appearances won’t hurt his value too much.

Bling (11:41) Lance Moore is out for the Saints.

Bling (11:42) Jason Tuck will play today. The Giants D have a nice match-up against Tampa Bay.

Bling (11:45) Wes Welker is out and Moss is in for the Pats. Julian Edelman will take Welker’s spot in the line-up.

Bling (11:56) – Bo Scaife returned to practice this week, but is inactive today. Chris Johnson could see another busy day as a receiver getting the check downs and dump offs that would have gone to Scaife. Jared Cook will take Scaife’s spot in the line-up, but we don’t see him as an viable fantasy option.

Bling (11:59) – After sitting out Thursday and Friday with migraines, Percy Harvin is active today against the 49ers.

Conn (12:03) – Portis officially active, has a nice matchup against Detroit.

Conn (12:04) – MJD officially active against Texans, he has Top 5 written all over him this week.

Conn (12:06) – Bucs deactivate RB Earnest Graham… ouch.  Wasn’t he 1st string in August?  Derrick Ward will get the bulk against his old team this week, Cadillac plays second fiddle while he nurses his sore knee.

Conn (12:09) – Bucs Antonio Bryant will start this week against the Giants, who are thin this week at DB…. I’m just sayin.

Conn (12:12) – Michael Vick wants people to know that when he’s out on the field, he’s out there to make plays… I want him as my spokesperson.

Conn (12:12) – Texans WR Kevin Walter active. Yet another weapon for Matt Schaub to go off with this week.

Bling (12:18) – Jerious Norwood is inactive today. Jason Snelling will take the third-down role.

Conn (12:36) – TNT is airing The Fugitive (again… and again… and again).

Conn (12:38) – As expected, Packers LT Chad Clifton will miss this week’s game with a high ankle sprain – The Rams may not go Antwan Odom on Rodgers, but but you can bet Leonard Little and company are licking their chops. Daryn Colledge moves to tackle. How’d that work out last week?

Conn (12:45) – Vikings MLB E.J. Henderson will play this week.

Conn (12:54) – Adam Helbling via Yahoo Messenger, “Put it on the board…..Lions win today.”

Conn (12:56) – Marion Barber did not participate in AM walk-throughs today. Not a good sign, but again nothing definitive on his Monday Night status. Felix Jones remains the more attractive of the two – Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
