Who do you want to believe? We asked some of the best in the industry to give us their top picks in our Experts Contest – here’s how it played out in Week One.
AJ Mass from ESPN took the early lead in the 2009 Experts Contest. He correctly put Fred Jackson among the top-5 running backs and predicted top-5 performances from the defenses of the New York Giants and the Tennessee Titans.
Jay Clemons from Sports Illustrated finished second for the week and he was one of the only experts to call for a top-5 week from Matt Hasselbeck.
Nearly every expert had Adrian Peterson among the top-5 at running back and Drew Brees and Tom Brady in the top quarterback category.
Jared Smola from Draft Sharks and Michael Jones of Football Diehards are tied for third. The trio tied for fifth consisted of Eric Karabell of ESPN, Jeff Boggis from Fantasy Sports Empires and Tony Holm from Fantasy Sharks.
